The Voice of the Hispanic Market organized on Wednesday 17 the webinar: The next wave: America’s Hispanics and the New America. The event was presented by Media Life and led by top experts in Hispanic market. AHAA board of directors, Nancy Tellet & Roberto Orci were among the panelists of the seminar that focused on the importance of the Hispanic market diversity and the change potential they have in leading the country. Tellet, founder of PureClarity and Research Co-Chair of AHAA, led the seminar and stated that “as long as people speak Spanish in the U.S. you’ll continue to have Spanish language media.” She noted that it’s not necessary to target each Spanish speaking country of origin separately. “You have to have people in decision making positions that have high cultural literacy to avoid mistakes” she suggested. “Multicultural marketing does not mean that you have to use one idea in all segments, but rather you have to nuance how you execute” she added. “Millennials are language neutral when they consume media, what adds value to their experience is to be authentic to the language they are in.”
