La campaña publicitaria y de los medios será dirigida por Juan Carlos Maya, presidente y fundador de Mixto Music
Juan Carlos Maya, president and founder of Mixto Music spoke with PRODU about the social responsibility project that will lead in partnership with Florida International University (FIU), Unión Positiva and Spectrum. The project aims to prevent drug abuse, AIDS and hepatitis C virus (HCV) among Hispanic young adults, between 18 and 21 years in the Miami area, and is backed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), which awarded FIU the sum of US $ 900,000 for the cause.”Between Mixto Music and The Mixto Foundation we have been trying to get involved in various social responsibility projects. This time the contribution of SAMHSA is very important because it sets a precedent, since in recent years many of the budgets that have been allocated for this type of targeted initiatives in the Hispanic community, had diminished considerably, ” Maya told PRODU.The advertising and media campaign will be directed by Maya, who was also appointed as a member of the project board. “We are very excited because this is a great project which we are sure it will have a great impact, not only in the community but in different NGOs and their relationship with what is allocating budget for the Latino community, “he said. Also, the rule does not discard including music producer brands interested in partnering with the project. “If you find a way to include some brands to help us to potentiate the message and meet the goals for this campaign, we’re going to do it,” he said.
