Hours spent working is an important factor for many when applying for the ideal job, and Tr3s has taken a study based how Hispanic millennials ages 19 to 34 try to have a work week that suits their lifestyles. Hispanics between 19-29 and those from 30-34, differ considerably in their perceptions about what fits their needs. The former are inclined to seek part-time employment, live with their parents and not have children, while the latter have their own families and work full-time at their professional advancement. Those of the younger group (57 percent) say that working half-time is the best option, though many youths dont go for that alternative. Meanwhile, 30-to-34-year-old millennials consider that option a waste of time and would prefer to diminish office hours if possible.Hispanics from 19-29 are less likely than those from 30-34 to have full-time Jobs. Part-time work is common but not their preference (44 percent of the 18-29 group work part-time but only17 percent say its ideal).A four-day work week is relatively uncommon among both age groups, but is seen as an attractive possibility. For an average work week, young adults say the right range is between 36 and 45 hours, while adult Hispanics consider that 11 to 25 hours would be enough.
