Besides appointing RobReilly as global creative chairman, McCann Worldgroup promoted Linus Karlsson to the post of creative chairman of Commonwealth, its subsidiary dedicated to the Chevrolet account worldwide.Reilly comes to McCann Worldgroup from Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where he was partner and worldwide chief creative officer. In his new role, he will be responsible for oversight of the McCann brand, as well as for the development of multiplatform approaches by leveraging McCann Worldgroup’s wide capabilities and communications resources to allow clients to achieve their creative goals with precision and impact.Reilly said, “The opportunity was hard to resist when the CEO looks you in the eye and says, ‘I want creativity to permeate everything we do.’ That is really all you can ask for.
