Martín Cerri: After three and a half wonderful years I’ve decided to leave Walton Isaacson

The Creative Martín Cerri announced that he no longer will be part of Walton Isaacson as Group Creative Director in order to “pursue a different path, leaving behind an incredible time where I was able to grow together with the agency, achieving goals never reached by the agency” he told PRODU. He said that he will unveil his new projects in the upcoming months. During his tenure, Cerri took Walton Isaacson to the top 10 of Hispanic agencies with faster growth. “We won international awards that the agency never was able to achieve before, like Cannes, CLIO, One Show, NYF, Wave, el Sol, ANA and USH, among others. And for the first time we were able to position the agency in the top10 more creative Hispanic agencies of the market.” For Cerri the importance of Hispanic agencies in the industry is indisputable. “The discussion is not about importance, it’s about the true commitment of brands towards this segment. And many times the commitment is noticed from how the client’s in-house team is shaped to handle, understand and establish a dialogue with what is Hispanic.” The constant technology evolution and demographic and social changes of the Hispanic consumer has varied. “From the topic everyone debates about -bicultural and bilingual millennials- to debates that never happened before as the growth of the Hispanic sector in items such as la luxury category, where more and more brands begin to be aware of the real purchase power of this consumer.”
