David Miami announces the promotion of two female executives to leadership roles. Mariana D’Aprile and Joana Plautz, who have worked at the agency for six years, are now head of account and creative director , respectively. The news was announced by Carolina Vieira, general director of David Miami, and Rafa Donato, CCO of the agency. D’Aprile, with over twenty years of experience, was a group account manager. The executive has worked for agencies such as Ogilvy, BBH and TBWA. During his time at David Miami, he had the opportunity to lead the account on major projects, including two Super Bowl campaigns (Devour and Turkish Airlines). He has also worked with clients such as Heinz, Coca-Cola, Johnnie Walker, Motorola, Sour Patch Kids and Halls (Mondelēz) and Activia (Danone). For his part, Plautz, also with twenty years of experience, has worked in agencies such as MullenLowe San Pablo and Wunderman Thompson Lisbon, where he spent seven years. Burger King, Corona, Danone, Ford, Halls, Netflix and Dove are some of the brands with which he has worked. Among the most relevant projects of his career are Corona Sunbrew and Burger King Impossible Combo. Prior to her promotion to creative director, the pro was ACD at David Miami. Regarding the appointments, Vieira assured: “I can only express my gratitude for having Mari and Joana in David and our privilege to have these two incredible professionals.
