Casanova Pendrill is made up of a group of integrated marketing experts and specialists who develop creative, innovative ideas. Now Manuel Huici is joining the team as creative director to continue and become a part of an environment where creative concepts come naturally.“The called me from Casanova last April for the Miller Lite pitch, in which I had the pleasure of working once more with Ingrid Smart. We won the competition and we produced the campaign with Danny Trejo (Machete) who also won the pitch, something that doesn’t happen very often” he said.Huici began his career in 1996 as a trainee with Ogilvy & Mather in Buenos Aires. In 2001 he went to work at LatinWorks, mentored by Sergio Alcocer, later moving to Alma DDB, where he stayed for six years. “I’ll never forget my first commercial in Los Angeles when we shut down Hollywood Blvd. with dozens of extras. For me, coming from Argentina, that megaproduction was like a dream” he said.The young creative worked on campaigns for Miller Lite, MGD, McDonald’s, Sony, Nokia, AT&T, Castrol, T-Mobile and more. With 12 years’ experience in the Hispanic market, he knows all the latest trends the market demands and keeps up to date with all the changes occurring in communications.“I feel that for an advertising creative, it’s important to be in tune with reality. In each product and brand that I handle, I always look for its magic side to make it connect with consumers” he said.
