Actriz Maite Perroni contribuye a una noble causa
For the third consecutive year, the actress and singer Maite Perroni joins Pantene beautiful lengths to encourage communities across the country to share their strength and donate beautiful and healthy hair to create free wigs for women who have lost hair due to cancer treatments. Celebrating the eighth anniversary of the campaign, US beauty salons come together to commemorate the National Day of donating hair, taking place on Saturday November, 22nd.”I’m more than happy to continue lending my voice to this beautiful cause. Every year, this disease affects thousands of women, and hair loss -due to cancer treatment- can profoundly affect women and self-esteem,” Maite Perroni said. “I invite the community to give the gift of a donation of eight inches of healthy hair to Pantene beautiful lengths and help bringing smiles and confidence to women in treatment, giving them the opportunity to have a real wig of hair for free.” Created in 2006, the initiative has received, to date, about 600,000 hair donations of generous men, women and children. The American Cancer Society distributes the wigs through its nationwide network of banks of free wigs. Since the program began, 34,000 real hair wigs have been provided to female cancer patients.
