Lynn Ponder Was Awarded Best Latina Network Leader at LATISM 2016

LATISM 2016 presented Lynn Ponder, Social Media Digital Strategist and Founder at Web City Girls, with the Best Latina Network Leader award, which recognized her latest social media innovative activations #BeNumberless and #UnstoppableLATINAS. “I am invigorated by the recognition I received this year at LATISM and I am full of enthusiasm to continue moving forward creating engaging and original content” Ponder said. “Unstoppable LATINAS concept purpose and mission is to unite Latinas and give power to each other” said Ponder. She explained that this is accomplish through a social media LIVE series that travels to different cities across the U.S. sharing engaging and truthful stories with influencers and celebrities. According to Ponder, one of the panels that impacted her most was Latinas Creating Wealth, including Latino speakers such as by Lili Gil Valleta, Lucienne Gigante and Marta Michelle Colon. Valleta presented an opportunity for Latinos and her latest venture HSN Project American Dreams Searching Latino Inventors, a business competition; Colon introduced Access Latina, a non-profit organization that looks to bring together Latina entrepreneurs with the capital resources they need, including access to networks and mentoring.
