PRODU spoke with Luis Miguel Messianu, president and CCO of Alma, after the AAF Diversity Achievement and Mosaic Awards named Alma as Agency of the Year, and honored two of its clients: State Farm in the Multiethnic Interactive Media category and Tobacco Free Florida in the category of Multiethnic Talent in Advertising.Messianu was also recognized as 2013 Diversity Trendsetter, a tribute to what his career has meant to the U.S. Hispanic advertising industry.This award fills me with pride because its not just for me but for the entire agency. You dont achieve these things alone its a tribute to everyone who works in Alma, and its very satisfying that they recognize were setting certain trends. I believe the agency has always tried to be a pioneer, and personally Ive not only made a commitment to help people grow but also to help the industry grow Messianu said.
