The Hispanic agency achieved a historic record at the Cannes Lions Festival after being acknowledged with eight Lions and 18 shortlists. For Luis Miguel Messianu, Creative Chairman and CEO at ALMA the agency strives to create good ideas that deliver results for their clients. “It was a really memorable accomplishment for our agency! This is only possible when you have excellent clients willing to take intelligent creative risks. This achievement belongs to the great ALMA team, that day after day makes our clients and us proud” said Messianu in a statement. ALMAs performance included awards and shortlists in the Radio category for their clients Tobacco Free Florida (TFF) and The Clorox Company. It won three Bronze Lions for Auctioneer and one Bronze Lion for Tobacco Downs for TFF. ALMA was also presented a Silver Lion for Thanks for nothing’s Big Bang, and another Bronze for Gravity for The Clorox. The Shapes campaign for Playdoh won a Silver Lion, and Help Kenya not Kanye a Bronze in the Promotion & Activation category. “Award-deserving ideas only can happen when you have a team that believes in those ideas and fights for them, and especially when in the other side you have clients that trust the agency and think that proper creativity can make a difference for their brand, hence for their company” said Álvar Suñol, Co-President and CCO at ALMA.
