The Hispanic agency was awarded with a bronze Lion in the Health & Wellness category of Education & Awareness subcategory for its radio campaign Auctioneer for the Florida Department of Health. This is the first Lion for Jorge Murillo and Monserrat Valera, who lead the creative group that developed the campaign, explained Luis Miguel Messianu, CEO and President at ALMA. “I believe that both the idea and execution prove not only a great understanding of the Florida Department of Healths promise, but particularly of the Tobacco Free Florida program that focuses both in prevention and cessation” he told PRODU. The piece shows in an ingenious way the consequences of smoking through the deterioration process that affect smokers that begin to use tobacco from a very young age. “The voice is a real auctioneer, giving a genuine touch to the spot.” Messianu gave credit to the whole Account team headed by Elizabeth McCarthy, Soraya Guillaume, PlanningClaudia Preston and Jorge and Monse, in production to Ricky Morales. “This work was supported by all and the leadership of Álvar Suñol and Angela Battistini, who must feel very proud. I feel like that.”
