La agencia hizo llover tequila

German winters are cold and rainy, so it’s no surprise that Germans book vacations to warm locations, explained Luciana Cani, SVP and Creative Director at LAPIZ, regarding Tequila Cloud Project they developed for their client the Mexico Tourism Board. Together with Two Bit Circus in LA, the agency developed a cloud with Mexico’s most representative product: Tequila, which was displayed at a gallery in Berlin, Germany. “Germany is an important market for Mexico, therefore they asked LAPIZ to create an experience that would put Mexico top of mind during this time. We found Germany loves Tequila, in fact it’s the number two importer in the world, so we decided to combine the Mexican thing Germans love most, Tequila, with the weather they hate most, Rain, to create: The Tequila Cloud” Cani explained to PRODU. The process to build the cloud was really difficult -she said-, they tried and failed many times before achieving the final result. Cani strongly believes in original ideas like The Tequila Cloud. “We took a risk trying something new from scratch. The client was brave approving this idea and giving us time to build a cloud that rains tequila. Projects like that needs a strong partnership between client and agency.” The people responsible for the project are: Luciana Cani, SVP and Creative Director; Lizette Morazzani, Creative Director; Flavio Pina, Head of Art; Ana Karina Da Silva, Copywriter; Freddy Agostini, Art Director; Rodrigo Cantalejo, Editor. Production Company: Two Bit Circus, leaded by the Engineers, Chris Weisbart and Robb Godshaw.
