Lopez Negrete Communications celebrates once again another acknowledgement for its advertising pieces after being awarded a gold in the 2015 ARF David Ogilvy awards for its campaign Vamos a Pescar, created for the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation’s (RBFF).It is the fifth award that Lopez Negrete achieves in the ARF David Ogilvy. According to the agency, a plan was developed, which included the objective audience, to reveal the perception of Hispanic families on the importance of fishing and level of participation. This generated commitment.For Alex López Negrete, president and CEO, the campaign reflects how Hispanic families think. “This is a significant victory since once again it is an example of our ability to understand what consumers want and that in the end it turns out to be our clients´ business success. Our solid research confirms that fishing is a hobby for Hispanic families. The research also confirms what we already knew: Hispanics are highly mobile”, he said.The creative strategy of the campaign is based on three fundamental pillars: 1. Exhibition: Turning boating and fishing, oriented towards family, something that is easy to do, a fun sport.2. Educating: Informing on regulations, bylaws, guidelines, provides help. 3. Participating: Showing situations in which brotherhood is highlighted; in which activities are unfolding, and that they are opportunities for participation.
