Hispanic agency, Lopez Negrete Communications did an exhaustive follow-up of the Centennial America Cup using its proprietary Social Media Intelligence Center. The research mapped out the main social conversations, hashtags and interactions in an infographic that celebrates the use of networks during the cups centennial. During the tournament 1.86 million tweets related to the soccer games were sent. The estimated reach was 1.4 billion people and the country most mentioned was Argentina with 324K. The U.S. came second with 287K and Chile third with 261K. Lopez Negrete is in a unique position to study the different conversations happening around the sporting event on social media, thanks to our Social Media Intelligence Center.
