Morazzani: El tema de equidad de género en la industria varía por país y por continente
The Creative Director at LAPIZ, Lizette Morazzani, was part of the team that created Tequila Cloud for the Board of Tourism of Mexico. This campaign received a Lion in Cannes and the executive explained it meant many things to her and her team, and that it definitely reaffirms that her work is consistent. “Every year we have a good piece for this client” she added. Although she did not participate in the 64th edition of the festival, she expressed that she was happy to see several women as Jury Presidents. “In past events, I have been the only woman in the jury” she said. “The topic of gender equality in the industry varies from one country or continent to another. In the U.S., although the problem does exist, I don’t think it is as strong as in South America.” Morazzani reached her position thanks to her merits and she divides them into three main aspects: “Passion for what I do, professionalism, and good company. My effort is what lead me to where I am now. I have always loved what I do, and many people say it shows, especially when I present something to a client or tell an idea. You could say I have it in my blood. My great-grandfather founded the first agency in my country of origin, Puerto Rico, and my grandfather, Max Muñiz, had an advertising agency.”
