Lauren Semple
According to Laura Semple, VP Content Strategy Director at Conill, there are increasingly more conversations around data and how to personalize messages from the perspective of the media. “I see data escalating and truly having a greater impact on planners”. Another element she notices in the market is the emergence of the term LatinX. “This term is getting a life of its own and is becoming a way to show that we are a more inclusive society, that we have great empathy for the world”. She added that brands are having greater participation in what this term means “and is a way for young Latinos to show how they see the world”. Regarding diversity, Semple points out that there is more participation of Afro-Latino faces. “I think this is the start of a bigger movement we´ll see and that will have a greater voice nd is going to show a side of Latinos we probably haven´t seen much, but is a great part of our Hispanic market”.
