Juan Vassallo y Hernán Pettinaroli
The multicultural agency LatinWorks has signed up the Juan Cruz Vassallo and Hernan Pettinaroli duo as associate creative directors, chiefly for the Dominos Pizza, Target and Texas Lottery accounts. Both creatives are from Argentina and previously worked as associate creative directors on such accounts as The Clorox Company, McDonald´s and State Farm. Vassallo, who was at Alma for a year, told PRODU that despite having been at Alma for a very short time, it was a very positive experience being part of a team that won its first prize at Cannes and made a successful pitch for the Goodyear account. Vassallo kicked off his career at J. Walter Thompson in Buenos Aires, where he stayed for eight years before moving on to Ponce for three years. Then came his leap to the U.S. Hispanic market.Becoming part of LatinWorks was a really important change, because I believe its an agency that besides being a leader in the Hispanic market, its an agency thats looking to take on the general market Vassallo said. For his part, Pettinaroli has in his professional portfolio the experience of having worked with La Comunidad and later at Alma, where the duo with Juan Vassallo got started.Im very happy to be on the LatinWorks team, because its an agency that knows where it wants to go and getting there is determined by the good work it does day after day Pettinaroli said.
