La campaña para el festival de Cine las Américas utilizó la sátira
LatinWorks, the US Hispanic agency developed a campaign for the International Film Festival Las Americas which takes place every year in Texas. In the pieces the surreal character of Latin American life and their politicians are shown through a satire. The campaign points out that if this happens in real life, films in the region have an entire universe of fascinating fiction. With a simple animation in motiongraphics of some voices who are allegedly doing an undercover job, they made the pieces where they show political situations that in any other part of the world would be impossible. The campaign will be participating in the Cannes Lions 2015 international advertising festival. The people in charge of the idea were: Sergio Alcocer, CCO at LatinWorks; Alejandro Egozcue, Mauricio Davila and Daniel Lobatán, creative directors; Alejandro Peré and Fernando Suarez, associate creative directors; Nick Garza, Ana Calvo, Gerardo Guillén, Paul Carpenter and Edgar Mireles, creatives and Christy Kranik, account supervisor. The production company was Personal Music, Vanessa Lozano was the producer, Alexis Estiz and Alberto Slezynger were the composers and Luis Gomez, sound engineer. Did you like this piece?
