Los audios de Skittles están llenos de humor
With a language close to millennials´, full of humor, Latinworks, the US Hispanic agency developed three commercials for the candy brand Skittles. Each audio is about a different topic, but they all have to do with Skittles in a surreal manner and and they highlight the power of the favorite flavor. The first one is titled Adopted, and is a dialogue between a grape Skittle and his mother where he confesses that he is not his son, but a Skittle. At the end it says: but remember you will always, always, always be my favorite Skittle flavor. The second is Emoji, in this piece a person tells the doctor that he was eating one of his favorite Skittles, lemon, and by accident ate an emoji. The doctor checks him and realizes it is true he has a funny face inside smiling saying he prefers lemon Skittles too and makes fun of the patient. The last one is Skittlepus, in which they tell the lives of Skittles as if they were an animal race, half duck, half candy, which mate enjoying each one’s flavor. The spot closes with brand’s slogan: Taste the rainbow. The campaign is participating in the 2015 Cannes Lions Festival.
