Patricia Heaton, actriz ganadora del Emmy, protagoniza la campaña

After hurricane Patricia swept through the Vallarta-Nayarit and Manzanillo region, Mexico Tourism Board and LAPIZ developed a campaign to show that they don’t hold any form of resentment against Patricias. On the contrary, the central campaign piece is a humorous {spot;www.produ.com/publicidad/videos/index.html?Noti=10216} featured by the Emmy awarded actress, Patricia Heaton, in which she invites all “good” Patricias to win a trip to the region. Mexico will give to 25 Patricias an all-inclusive travel package for two. The only condition is to log in {WelcomePatricias.com;https://welcomepatricias.com/}, and use #WelcomePatricias #Sweepstakes hashtags to upload a photo or video that proves that they are just as ready for the trip as Mexico was for the hurricane. “As you’ll see in the ad, your name can be anything related to Patricia such as Patty, Pat, Tricia or Trish. If you’re not a Trish, you can encourage a Patricia you do know to enter and take you as a plus one. They just have to upload a photo or video showing how ready they are for vacation in beautiful Vallarta-Nayarit and Manzanillo region” said Carlos Murad, group creative director at LAPIZ. The campaign goal is to show that the region is in good shape, not as media reported, and that they are open for business and welcome visitors to enjoy all it has to offer. The ad is being broadcast in the major Canada and U.S. television chains. Mexico is the biggest tourist advertiser in the U.S. The campaign follows the success of Mexico Tourism Board’s two Cannes Lions Award-winning campaigns: Reselfies and Snow Graffiti.
