Kiko Ricote presentó su penúltimo pecado capital: Codicia
The director Kiko Ricote recently worked on his campaign Seven Deadly Sins, with the purpose of promoting Kikor, a commercial photography studio. It is a creative proposal to publicize their work and have fun portraying the vices of humans. This time, Ricote presented the penultimate sin, Greed, also known as avarice and regarded as a vice. Since this is a wish that exceeds the limits of the ordinary or lawful, it is qualified with this pejorative noun the attitudes about wealth. The author of these messages seeks to end this initiative with humor because he does it for fun deep down. “It’s a good way to show what I have learned from working with advertising agencies and idea men for so many years,” Ricote said. “Another reason why I do these campaigns is that then I put the pictures in my {website;www.kikor.com} since rarely people in advertising take the risk of doing something like that and make it different,” the photographer said. In the past, Kikor used this strategy to position his work and launched a similar proposal to the green commandments, as a call to raise awareness about the environmental problems and conservation of the planet. “It’s a good exercise to help me take better pictures for my website. It forces me to make creative photos, since I try to get out of clichés” he told PRODU.
