La agencia de Chozas y Oubiña se alzó con tres premios en los U.S.H. Idea Awards
o-1 is a creative agency that debuted at the 2017 U.S.H. Idea Awards by taking home three of the prizes, which for Juan Oubiña & Curro Chozas, Founders and Creative Directors of the agency, was a tremendous honor. “These were the first campaigns we did and their success gives us confidence that we’re on the right track and also inspires us to keep moving forward.” The agency was awarded two silvers in Outdoor and Promo Activation for Tweets from the Stars and Voto Latino, respectively, and silver in the Beyond Hispanic PR category for #100celulares for Movistar. They said all brands face the same challenge – it’s all about how to stand out and be relevant in a world saturated with content and where indifference and the rejection of “advertising” reign. Regarding the #100celulares campaign for Movistar, they said the client was very brave to go with a very risky idea. “Having a political/social aspect is something that frightens many marketers, but Movistar saw that the idea was not only relevant for the brand, but also for Guatemala’s social context. Its outcome, however, could not be predicted. There was a real chance of being left with nothing. Fortunately, the client gambled and invested in the idea, and people’s response was beyond all expectations. It turned out to be Guatemala’s top social media campaign and won an award for a client that took the risk of doing what seemed best for their brand.”
