Juan Carlos Ortiz named to executive jury of 2014 New York Festivals

In recognition of his professional achievements and experience in international festivals, New York Festivals invited Juan Carlos Ortiz, president of DDB Latina, to be part of the exclusive group of executive jury members for 2014.“It’s an honor to be part of the group of curators of ideas who will open the doors on what will be seen at Cannes 2014,” Ortiz said.In the 56 years of the festival’s history, this is the fourth straight year it has invited a larger group of top executives with global creative credentials to evaluate the industry’s work.Among those invited are Erik Vervroegen, international creative director of Publicis Worldwide, France, and Alexander Schill, global CCO and partner of Germany’s Serviceplan Group, among others. The gala will be held in New York on May 1, 2014.
