Jose Villa, president of Sensis, spoke to PRODU about his presentation in Hispanicize, titled Generation Z, in which he explained the characteristics and the importance of the generation that will substitute the Millennials and why it is important to start centering our attention on the next group of consumers.”We are starting to look at the future and the next generation that is coming is Generation Z, which actually represents the biggest part of Hispanics in the USA”, said Villa.According to Villa, Generation Z are all those young people under 20 and children older than 10 years of age, and are considered the most diverse generation in the history of the USA, since most of them are Hispanics, Afro Americans and Asians.”Everybody continues to pay attention to Millennials but nobody is focusing on analyzing Generation Z. This group, in spite of what many think, is not so connected to the Internet as Millennials, and almost 25% of the total of Hispanics in the US belong to it”, he added.Likewise, Villa announced the implementation of a new media practice which the multicultural media agency will offer, that consists of combining traditional advertising, social media broadcasting and content marketing. The new unit will be directed by Romina Bongiovanni, who has more than 17 years of experience in the Hispanic market.
