Jonathan Guerin, Senior Public Relations Manager at United Airlines in Chicago, shared on the fourth day of Hispanicize 2017, a talk titled United Airlines: Creating Trust Trough Leadership. Together with Carlos Correcha-Price, General Manager at Edelman Miami, they highlighted the effort the company has implemented to recover trust in the brand after a process of crisis and uncertainty. United handles its public relations with Edelman throughout the entire country. “They have done a marvelous job and this year they introduced us to Hispanicize” commented Guerin. “We are very excited to be here. In the last few years, the company has changed a lot and we like to think of it as United’s new spirit. We have been through many crisis, but now we have a very strong leadership based on trust and comprised by passionate leaders. We are focused on offering our clients special experiences.”Carlos Correcha-Price, General Manager at Edelman Miami and Latin America, highlighted that he has had a marvelous experience with United. “With this new strategic plan, employees feel united, they feel that nothing is impossible and that they are being heard. They are implementing collective plans to send food to children in developing countries, to carry out collective activities and the energy is felt in each of the airline’s headquarters.”Guerin added that they have 339 destinations, 5 thousand daily flights, which translate into 5 thousand opportunities to create a special experience for their clients and build lasting relationships. “We are the most complete network in the world. We have great initiative for the Hispanic market and love to have this presence as an airline in this community, because our purpose is to connect people and unite the world” concluded Guerin.
