John Mescall expands its creative role as President of McCann’s Global Creative Council

John Mescall, nuevo presidente del Consejo Creativo global de McCann

McCann Worldgroup announced that John Mescall was named President of the Global Creative Council of the organization. He will continue to perform his role as Global Executive Creative Director, but will now help the agency handle its creative resources in all the regions and disciplines. “Since he moved from Australia to New York two years ago, John has brought his creative energy to the network” stated Robe Reilly, Global Creativity Chairman of McCann Worldgroup. “I have asked him to take on additional responsibilities to help us maximize creative opportunities everywhere”. “Under Rob’s leadership we have been able to come together to maximize our access to global resources and have great impact, rapidly” said Mescall. “The Council’s goal is to make the most of the collective intelligence and incredible talent of McCann to find intelligent ways to apply that powerful creative network to the needs of real clients. Not only to organize our leadership or to establish regulations, despite how important these are, but to ensure that, regardless of where opportunity lies in the world, everyone in McCann Worldgroup is working to make the most of this opportunity”.McCann is one of the five agencies with the most creative acknowledgements in the world and, according to the Guun Report, is in second place in digital creativity. In the FIAP and in the El Sol Festival, the agency came in first place for Latin America.
