Univisión broadens its campaign to promote Hispanic vote in the U.S., after partnering with the Election Protection Coalition, the biggest non-partisan voter protection coalition in the U.S. Fusion Media Group (FMG), a division of UCI, will also join the efforts. “Since UCI started more than half a century ago, our mission has been to empower the communities we serve on the most critical issues that affect their lives” said Jessica Herrera-Flanigan, Executive Vice President of Government & Corporate Affairs. At the beginning of the year, UCI launched a comprehensive non-partisan voter engagement campaign, Vote For Your America, with the aim of increasing the amount of Hispanic, multicultural and millennial voters in the 2016 general election and preceding national primaries. In order to expand this unprecedented effort to motivate people to register to vote, UCI and FMG are informing and empowering their audience on their right to vote across broadcasts on open signal TV, digital media, social networks, radio and community empowering platforms.
