ADCOLOR, the organization focused on promoting professionals of color and diversity in the creative industries, is proud to announce its alliance with Twitter to create an emoji celebrating the organization’s upcoming 10th Annual ADCOLOR Conference & Awards.“When people come together -through inclusion, through belonging- they can accomplish great things” said Jeffrey Siminoff, VP Inclusion & Diversity, Twitter. “We are proud to support ADCOLOR’s ten years of important work at this year’s Conference, and to help amplify its message of inclusion and diversity through the power of a Twitter custom emoji that shows that we do our best work not in spite of our differences but because of them.”On previous occasions,Twitter has created custom emojis for some of their biggest advertisers and major cultural events, and ADCOLOR now joins that group. The emoji will be activated on September 15th and available until October 13th, and will appear in conjunction with the hashtag #ADCOLOR.”I’m really excited to see how people will participate in the conversations taking place and challenge each other to come up with solutions for issues regarding unconscious bias, gender equality, and LGBTQ acceptance” said Tiffany R. Warren, President and Founder at ADCOLOR.The event will take place in Boca Raton, where the award started, at the Boca Raton Resort & Club From September 18th to 21th 2016.
