Jean Sharony, gerente general y socio de Whiskey USA
A few days before the 2016 annual International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers (IQ) convention, PRODU spoke with Jean Sharony, General Manager and Partner at Whiskey USA, who will be the host of the event. On this occasion they will celebrate their 50th anniversary in the city of Miami, from September 25th to October 1th in the Biltmore Hotel.“This is a date our members eagerly await: to reunite with old friends, colleagues and to have the opportunity to share what the year has been for each one of us. It is important to follow each one’s activities, if one of the members finished the film he presented in the past conference or if another managed to cross that new work line he posed” explained Sharony. “We are partners, friends, colleagues who support and learn from each other during those intense seven days.”The conference takes place from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and, according to Sharony, it will be full of entertaining and enriching spaces to offer the possibility of networking.“We have some new activities for this conference. A festival with wines from all the regions, brought by each one of our members, an active and entertaining networking activity, a panel where we will discuss about the impact of virtual reality, and finally, a very important visit: Alexander Witt, Director of Photography and a Hollywood legend. 80 members, endless presentations and conversations not only to celebrate, but also to reminisce.”
