The Cannes Lions Festival delegates will have the unique opportunity of being part of the jury of the Innovation Lions awards, while observing and deliberating about the presentations that will take the stage to show their ideas. June, Tuesday,17th and Wednesday, 18th, 30 pre-chosen participants among entrepreneurs, inventors, and innovators from 16 countries, will have 10 minutes to present their work, followed by a 10-minute session of questions and answers. Later, the jury will meet and discuss who will be awarded with the coveted Innovation Lions, which will be revealed next June, 21st. this symposium honors the technological advances and innovation that allow brands, technologist and idea men to communicate with their clients in a new way. A total of 206 participants from 36 countries participated in the Innovation Lions this year. Nevertheless, a strong international panel chaired by Tom Bedecarre, AKQAs president, checked and voted in a first round to define the final list of 30 proposals. “To inspire creative excellence in communications, our industry needs to develop even more new technologies that provide brands and creative developers new ways of communicating. Innovation Lions will look for new apps, tools, hardware, software and platforms that show how technology can push the creative limits” Tom Bedecarre, president of the jury, commented.
