Álvaro Rodríguez, CEO e ingeniero de Histeria Music
Histeria Music, the audio post-production company based in Miami, concluded the audio post-production for seasons one and two of the MTV show Ridículos. Currently broadcast in Latin America and Brazil. This is a Spanish and Portuguese language adaptations of the original English version of Ridiculousness, filmed at Viacom’s Miami studios. “Working on both seasons was such a challenge due to the incredibly fast turnarounds and the difference in the approach given to each language -Spanish and Portuguese-. Mixing at our own studios parallel to mixing at Viacom’s audio room was key to completing this show in time” said Alvaro Rodríguez, CEO and Engineer at Histeria Music. Histeria Music was selected to be in charge of the audio post-production for the show by Miami-based post-production houses Paradiso Pictures and Handle like Eggs. The company was founded in 2003 and it has focused on client support and quality music and audio post-production. Some of its clients include Dunkin Donuts, MTV, Mazda, Discovery Channel, Tide, Kroger and Nickelodeon. Ridiculousness, which began airing on August 29th, 2011, features various viral videos from the Internet, usually involving failed do-it-yourself attempts at stunts, to which the host and panelists add mock commentary. The eighth season premiered on July 7th, 2016.
