The organizers of Hispanicize 2014 announced 20 prizewinners in the first Positive Impact Awards, a national program solely sponsored by 3M, which honors outstanding Latinos who do selfless good works on behalf of their communities.This year the list of winners includes regular U.S. Hispanics who come from a great variety of national backgrounds and professions that include education, science, technology, medicine, healthcare, the arts, and more.These extraordinary individuals are among the nations many Hispanic Americans who routinely do good works for complete strangers in their communities and elsewhere said Hispanicize CEO Manny Ruiz.As a next step, the public will have the chance to vote for which of the winners they consider worthy of being named Positive Impact Person of the Year.
