Hispanicize announced the honorees of the Positive Impact Awards, which acknowledges those who make positive contributions to the lives of Hispanics in the U.S. This award is sponsored by Prudential Financial and is delivered during Hispanicize 2016 Week, held from April 4th to 8th in Downtown Miami. Together with Prudential, we take great pride in creating a program that celebrates every-day heroes and disseminates their message of unity and accomplishment.”The winners of the Positive Impact Awards 2016 are: Doniece Sandoval, Founder of Lava Mae for Community Revitalization; Rebecca García, Co-Founder of CoderDojo NYC, for her work at STEM; Sarahi Espinoza, Founder of DREAMers Roadmap in the Financial Education category and Culture Philanthropist and teacher at The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee in the Professional Empowerment category.
