Hispanicize 2015 and the Latino Mom Bloggers network announced on February 19 the very first Tecla Awards, to recognize the excellence of Latino blogs, microblogs, social media, and digital marketing. After deliberation by the qualifying panel, composed by the main United States Latino brands, agencies and influencers, finalists were selected amongst almost 300 nominees.The Tecla Awards features 26 categories, 19 of them focusing on Latino bloggers and journalists; and the other seven, on Latino marketing and media excellence.”We are extremely impressed by the quality of the nominees to the Tecla Awards. Not only do the finalists should feel honored, also the nominees should for competing against the very best of the industry,” said Manny Ruiz, Hispanicizes founder and event creative director.The event will be held during the Hispanicize week 2015 next March 16 at the JW Marriott hotel in Miami city.
