Hispanicize 2014 announced 3M as the official sponsor of the Positive Impact Awards, the leading awards gala of the event honoring Latino trendsetters among the nations bloggers, marketers, journalists, technology entrepreneurs, musicians and filmmakers.Established in honor of social media pioneer Louis Pagan, the Positive Impact Awards recognize 20 exceptional Latinos noted for outstanding work in their communities. Were honored that 3M is championing our events most prestigious program in its inaugural year, a unique platform that is very special to us because it spotlights amazing Latinos who have found extraordinary ways to improve their communities said Hispanicize founder Manny Ruiz. The 20 winners will be chosen by the Hispanicize 2014 Advisory Council and will be announced on Feb. 16, 2014. Members of the audience have the opportunity to vote online for the candidate they think should be named Positive Impact Person of the Year.
