According to a survey conducted in September 2014 by the provider Avangate, almost half of US Internet users have never used their mobile device to make a purchase, and 40% says it is due to security concerns.However, after an in depth look, it was found that 52% of US Hispanic consumers are more comfortable making mobile purchases than their non-Hispanic counterparts, acquiring products through mobile phone or tablet. Another ThinkNow research revealed that about half of Hispanic mobile users had bought more clothes, electronics, music or movie tickets in the last month.Product ratings by experts are the second most used code when research is done via smartphones and tablets. 36% of Hispanic mobile users seek expert advice compared with 26% of non-Hispanics.Hispanics mobile shoppers in the US are also more likely to use their devices to research products with online reviews as its most valuable resource, while 53% of Hispanic mobile shoppers sought online comments on their smartphones and tablets, only 44% of non-Hispanics did the same.
