Among the Hispanic agencies making the shortlist of the Film Craft category at the 2013 Cannes Lions was the Hispanic agency Marca of Miami for the commercial Auction, which it created for the Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking. PRODU met with Armando Hernandez, partner and CCO of Marca, to see what he thought about the agencys nomination. Were very pleased about the recognition, above all because we did it on a very modest budget and with a lot of people helping for free, he said.Modern slavery is something that is going on and we want to help raise awareness about it, Hernandez said. Our commitment with this client and with this cause is very important to the agency. The Cortez Brothers in Los Angeles was the production company that worked with Marca in making the commercial. PRODU also spoke at Cannes with Bernadette Rivero, president of The Cortez Brothers. We feel very lucky to have been part of the team. Its wonderful that Marca has been nominated, because they really deserve it. And the strategy of our director, Antonio Von Hildebrand, was incredible, Rivero said.Being in Cannes makes me very happy, and I like even more finding people from the Hispanic market here and seeing that were a community among ourselves, but also that were part of the global advertising community, Rivero said.To see the nominated Marca commercial, click {here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aqj9yl9o6W4}..
