Cerdeiro: Es cada vez más difícil ver una buena campaña con concepto

PRODU visited Conill’s offices in Miami to talk to its Creative Executive VP, Hernán Cerdeiro, about their 2015 experience and challenges for 2016. “We ended the year very well. Toyota’s More Than a Car won many awards and ANA’s recognition allows us to end the year at a high level. These acknowledgements enable us to learn that the client is on the right side as we are, and consumers are happy with what they gain from the brand, so I believe we are doing a great job” he said. Cerdeiro said that they are going through an important process to become a very well positioned agency regarding client confidence. “We want them to see us not only as an agency with the need to produce good ideas, but strategic ideas that sell and are relevant for consumers” he explained. “We’re building that relationship to show clients they can rely on an agency that listens and understands where the business is heading. Nowadays there’s less time and less money, things must be done well, quickly and effectively”. They expect many more campaigns in 2016. “It’s becoming more and more difficult to see a good concept campaign. Long campaigns –lasting one or two years- are being lost, and these are the ones that support agencies for years and forge relationships with the client. Now there are few agencies that can do it, we value this greatly and we strive to do it the best way possible”.
