Conill announced the appointment of Hernan Cerdeiro as executive creative director of the multicultural agency. In this new role, Cerdeiro will provide creative leadership to the Miami office, and will report directly to the Creative General Director of Conill, Javier Campopiano. Cerdeiro was VP and creative director of Latinworks, where he worked for clients such as Anheuser-Busch’s Budweiser and Bud Light; Snickers; M & M; Twix; Starburst and Skittles Wrigley. He has also held leadership positions in ALMA, Ponce, Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy and McCann Erickson Argentina. “I’ve known for quite some time Hernan and I’ve always been a big fan of his work” Campopiano said. “We have similar views on creativity and shared an ambition to create the best imaginable advertising. He will be an inspirational leader for our team and a great advantage for our customers.”Among the creative honors of Cerdeiro we find seven Cannes Lions and seven Clio, among numerous other awards from various festivals. “With the group of people already working in Conill and those who will join us soon, I feel that the agency is the right place at the right time” Cerdeiro said. “There are good brands that offer excellent opportunities for creativity.
