Adrián Morales, VP de Producción de Música y Audio y de Licencia de Heiga Studios
The music and audio post studio, Heiga Audiovisual is set to celebrate its 14th Anniversary and the occasion will be ideal to announce their partnership with Film Gate, a non-profit organization devoted to promoting and training Filmmakers and Creators. “We are so much stronger together and we provide the one-two punch of video and audio. With support of the local community and the local government, we will be very successful, I can guarantee it” said Liliana Alexander, FilmGate’s CEO. In partnership with Heiga Audiovisual Studios, FilmGate will be launching on April 13th, a media center, a collaborative space for digital-content Creators, Filmmakers, and Talent. FilmGate will be literally on the next floor of Heiga Audiovisual Studio. “We see our partnership with FilmGate as an opportunity to keep enhancing the support and the mission that we have to create a healthy, local grown audiovisual community. And with their expertise and the things we’re putting together such as workshops and seminars, plus what we’ve done already with the audio/music, it’s going to be a perfect partnership” said Adrian Morales, VP of Music and Audio Production and Licensing at Heiga Audiovisual Studio. For Malury Imbernon, Executive Director at Heiga Audiovisual Studio, this alliance is “like the beginning of planting the seed to make a stronger Miami.” She explained that the studio have been working with local talent and supporting a lot of independent and local musicians. For Morales and Imbernon, Miami has always been a blank canvas, where there are unlimited opportunities to grow and create. And with this partnership, FilmGate hopes to activate a lot more local projects, through their joint programming, with which they can provide the production support in-house, creating more projects, web series and TV shows, and films in the region, giving them a voice.
