Havas Worldwide announced two important hires: Matt Howell as global CDO and Toygar Bazarkaya, who will be CCO for America. Both executives will assume their positions in November and will work in New York, under the supervision of global CEO, Andrew Bennett.Among Howells responsibilities are to expand the agencys offering and deliver digital enterprises according with Havas Together strategy. In turn, Bazarkaya will strengthen the creative teams in the continent and, mainly encourage collaboration among them. Howell returns to the company after a year as a partner at Vermonster LLC, a design and technology consultancy. He had previously been global global Chief Digital Officer for Arnold Worlwide, and then for Havas Creative Group. Howell has a vast career path in marketing and digital strategy, including three years as president of the creative agency Modernista! and more than three years at R/GA, where he handled the Nike account.”Matt is a proven innovative leader who is passionate about fusing technology with marketing, as well as creating new ways to connect brands with consumers” commented Benett.Bazarkaya has worked for brands such as Visa, Mercedes, Gillette, Campbells, American Red Cross, Dubai Turism and Dove Chocolate. His performance in agencies like Jung von Matty Springer & Jacoby in Hamburg, DM9DDB in São Paulo, Mullen in Boston and DDB New York earned him more than 600 awards throughout his career.
