During Lions Health, Havas Health presented the seminar How history is changing: The power of narrative medicine; a compelling and moving seminar that explained how real contact with patients can lead to a deeper understanding of their needs, their disease and effective ways of treatment. Using a combination of science, anthropology, programming of reality and emotion, this session explored the relationship doctor-patient and it offered a practical guide for using narrative methods in health communication. Besides, the symposium presented Dr. Rita Charon, director of the program Narrative Medicine in Columbia University College; Doug Burcin, Havas’ founder and Jacques Séguéla Havas’ VP. The meeting took place in the Debussy Auditorium last June, 14th, at 3:00p.m.Havas Healh sponsored the Festival’s Newsroom Center, the main panel for all the media participants that was located in the Debussy Foyer. To watch the event’s trailer, you can visit {YouTube;https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIhNKtWxefs&feature=youtu.be}.
