On December, 4th, employees of the worldwide leader in children’s games, Hasbro, commemorated the International Day of joy with a fun celebration. This initiative was designed to bring positive change to thousands of children in 33 countries.During the celebration, children’s toys and meal supplies were delivered to the homeless; likewise, the second edition of Hasbro Game Day, where company employees volunteered, with over 100 charities around the world to make a difference through the power of volunteerism was held.”The World Day of Joy is a very special day for us, because we all unite to contribute to the lives of thousands of young in a very special time of year,” Brian Goldner, President and CEO of Hasbro, said. “By combining the talent and dedication of our employees we realize that we can help bring happiness on a very large scale.”The World Day of joy is one of the most interesting and impactful initiatives of Hasbro; however, there is no special date for these voluntary work, the charitable work of the company goes throughout the year. In addition, Hasbro’s philanthropic program also focuses on empowering children to bring the spark of hope, joy of playing and the power of service in the lives of the needy.
