Gustavo Lauria of We Believers: To make The Traffic Jam Whopper relevant we depended on data

The co-founder and CCO of We Believers, Gustavo Lauria, celebrated the power of data in the triumph of The Traffic Jam Whopper for Burger King in winning a bronze Lion in the Creative Data category.“I think that while creating big ideas is our priority, everyone knows and everyone says that solid data improves ideas, which is why it was particularly satisfying to win in this category. Data was key in this specific case for making the idea relevant to consumers and in turn generating more consumption because it has people enjoying their Whoppers in a way that would have been impossible in the past” the creative said. The project accrued eight shortlists in the first three days of the festival and is a service first offered in Mexico City, where people spend several hours in traffic every day. The initiative aims to relieve passengers´ frustrations in big cities with a delivery service that takes Whoppers directly to the door of cars stuck in traffic. It was produced by Bonsai3, Miami; Central Films, Mexico City and Pickle Music, New York.
