Gustavo Lauría representará el mercado hispano en EE UU
Gustavo Lauría, We Believers Co-Founder and juror of the Radio and Green categories of the Wave Festival, maintains that this competition has its own character, especially with art and craft direction. This year, he hopes to find pieces that revolutionize the format and to make the most out of the available resources. “As a Copywriter and Radio juror, I am going to insist on identifying those pieces that communicate and make people react using good writing and simplicity in storytelling. As a Green juror, we have the responsibility of differentiating those ideas that can truly make the world a better place. The environment and our impact upon it are things I care and I am concerned about. As creatives and communicators we have the possibility of making a real impact” he says. There is controversy regarding tech development and robotics, but he feels there is a lot to gain from it. “There will be ideas that implement them, and I am intrigued over how they are going to apply them to the Radio category.”Last year, the U.S. Hispanic market won important awards for the first time. He forecasts that it will perform very well. “That is something we won’t only see at the Wave Festival. Creativity in our market is getting stronger, and more important, it has personality.”
