The Ibero American Advertising Festival (FIAP) relaunched the event for 2017. The first novelty is that it will be in the hands of a group of entrepreneurs and outstanding personalities in the industry, who decided to invest in Argentina after the change of course that began in the country December 2015, according to the Festival webpage. The group of partners of FIAP will be led by Rodrigo Figueroa Reyes, Founder at Fire Advertainment. Daniel Marcet will continue in the partnership’s board, in the role of Chairman. The renewal of the festival includes an immediate, three-year plan under the slogan “50th Anniversary of FIAP” that will be celebrated in Buenos Aires in 2019, turning the event into what it always was: a Capital of Ideas. The event will be held in Buenos Aires from September 3rd to 6th, 2017. It will have the support of the Dirección General de Industrias Creativas, dependent on the Ministerio de Modernización, Innovación y Tecnología of the City of Buenos Aires. It will have an entirely renewed format: “Sunday, September 3rd, industry landmarks will be received with a party, Monday, September 4th will be the day for Innovation and Startups; Tuesday, September 5th, conferences for a great audience, and Wednesday 6th will be the closing with an awards delivery” they mentioned. The pieces can be submitted as of the end of May and will first be evaluated online and then in person in Buenos Aires by outstanding Ibero-American creatives.
