Grey NY turns 9/11 in a day for hope

La campaña se titula Born on 9/11

The NGO 9/11 Day has released a TV ad campaign calling on Americans to perform good deeds on the anniversary of the terrorist attack on the U.S. Grey NY conceived the spots, and after interviewing children who were born on that day, the tagline that came up for the campaign was Hope was born that day too. The campaign shows testimonies of children who were born on September 11, 2001 -more than 13,000 children were born that day in the U.S.- but the centerpiece spot primarily focuses on Hillary O’Neill, who asks people to do “one good deed” on such a difficult date. The spot ends with a slate that says, Share your good deed this #911Day and invites viewers to learn more at 911day.org. According to Andreas Dahlqvist, Grey NY’s CCO, “when we interviewed these children born on 9/11, we quickly found out that none of them wished their birthdays were different. In fact, they feel strongly that they represent what’s good in the world. They are very hopeful about the future and are determined to give back to others.” Grey NY brought on Bodega Studios director Adam Reid to deliver his signature docu-style authenticity to the spot which is titled Born On 9/11. The campaign also includes radio announcements and social media executions encouraging people to share their good deeds.
