Knipp: Es importante mostrar los valores y la misión de tu compañía
In an interview with the Linkedln team, Greg Knipp, CEO of the Hispanic agency Dieste talked about the profile of the professionals the agencies seek and the tools they use in order to keep them in their teams. “We’re are all looking for that theoretical T shaped talent, somebody that has a deep expertise in one area, but has an understanding of other disciplines and the social skills to collaborate.” “The critical part to attracting these folks is really in making sure that they’re able to have the opportunity of doing the things they really want to do and work in an environment where they are surrounded by equal talented people” he said. “The critical piece in keeping people or attracting them in the agency world is really providing those opportunities to pursue their passions and have the reward of doing work that they can really feel proud about. Knipp explained that in Dieste they ensure to have a team where people feel comfortable working in, excited and with partners that share their vision, in order for them to stay in the firm. “Before agencies focused a lot on clients and thought that winning awards will attract new clients. Now it is more balance and this has created a better environment to interest both clients and employees, because it’s also important to show the values and mission of your company” he concluded.
