The giant of technology companies has launched a new internet domain for the Hispanic market. Called .soy, it hopes to replace the .com and become “the place of the network for Latinos.” According to Google, the domain .soy offers Hispanic consumers, brands and organizations, “a place to build, create and share culturally relevant web content.” The official launch was announced last Thursday. Companies and organizations such as the Hispanic Heritage Fund, the Institute of Her and the agency or LATISM Republic among others have already taken the domain..soy was created with the Latino audience in mind, and intends to build a website for small and medium-sized growth companies as well as individuals who want to share their interests.
